Objectives

Lecture initiated in October 2015 as a series of classes, talks and presentations that are devoted to topics ranging from science and technology to art to provide an opportunity of learning different interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary subjects. Our main goal is to make knowledge accessible to everyone and provide a mean for experts to share their expertise with others. Our objectives include but not limited to:

How Lecture Works?

Lecture structure works based on two principles:

  1. Providing a direction to learn a new subject rather than randomly searching the literature to find puzzle pieces.
  2. Expanding multidisciplinary horizons by exposing members to topics that are not normally covered in their fields of study.

Lecture sessions are taught by our members or guest lecturers to address the questions or subjects that are requested by the members. We keep track of the questions, requested topics and expertise of our members and use these information to define topics based on the highest demands from members and availability of an instructor.

Lecture sessions are run and managed by its associate members and are open to public. Associate members have the right to request subjects, vote for session topics and invite guest lecturers. They also need to follow a set of simple rules which are:
